AVL Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete AVL Technician Basic Training and Summit Onboarding within 90 days of hire
• Execute installation tasks including wire pulls, terminations, basic rigging, and field installs
• Deliver top-quality results following Summit Standards and industry best practices
• Participate in project preparation, meetings, and company-wide events
• Maintain active login credentials and submit expense reports, hours, and PTO requests in a timely manner
• Assist with events, shop assembly, and custom fabrication as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work variable hours and frequent overtime
• Availability to work seven days per week (Monday through Sunday)
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and move up to 90 pounds on carts
• Ability to climb and work at heights of 6+ feet using ladders or steps
• Willingness to travel extensively (estimated 32 weeks per year)

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA-10 Certification
• Aerial Scissor, Boom, and Forklift Certifications
• Current DOT physical and Safety Certifications
