AVIT Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Comply with and execute testing procedures specified in quotes
• Use interpretive documents such as OSM and CTL during testing
• Write detailed test reports
• Perform structural inspections and other tests on electrical products according to specified methods and standards
• Manage sample delivery and circulation for outsourced testing and audit results from outsourced agencies
• Prepare samples according to specified testing methods and standards
• Assist product line managers in training engineers and researching new standards

Requirements

• Familiarity with IEC / EN 62368 standards
• Foundational capabilities in electrical and mechanical aspects
• Knowledge of third-party laboratory electrical product testing
• Proactive and independent in problem-solving and methodology development
• Strong professional ethics for individuals and teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNAS, CMA, or CBTL internal or external audits
