Avionics Test Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute automated tests and reporting scripts for functional and performance testing of spacecraft electronics
• Plan and execute functional and performance test plans, including both manual and automated test cases
• Develop standard operating procedures for test operations to train operators across all environments
• Provide first-level troubleshooting, assist in root cause efforts, and implement corrective actions for equipment failures
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate test and support equipment in the lab
• Provide Design for Manufacturing and Test feedback to optimize processes and test setups

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience testing complex electrical systems
• Experience working in a Linux environment, including usage of Bash
• Programming experience in Python, C++, or similar languages
• Hands-on experience using electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies) and data acquisition systems
• Experience developing and executing test plans and procedures from requirements
• Willingness to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends to support 24/7 operations for critical test campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline
• DevOps software experience with networking, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Experience with RF testing and the usage of network analyzers and signal generators
• Experience designing and building electrical harnesses and connectors
