About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute automated tests and reporting scripts for functional and performance testing of spacecraft electronics
- Plan and execute functional and performance test plans, including both manual and automated test cases
- Develop standard operating procedures for test operations to train operators across all environments
- Provide first-level troubleshooting, assist in root cause efforts, and implement corrective actions for equipment failures
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate test and support equipment in the lab
- Provide Design for Manufacturing and Test feedback to optimize processes and test setups
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience testing complex electrical systems
- Experience working in a Linux environment, including usage of Bash
- Programming experience in Python, C++, or similar languages
- Hands-on experience using electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies) and data acquisition systems
- Experience developing and executing test plans and procedures from requirements
- Willingness to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends to support 24/7 operations for critical test campaigns
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline
- DevOps software experience with networking, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Experience with RF testing and the usage of network analyzers and signal generators
- Experience designing and building electrical harnesses and connectors
