Avionics Test Integration Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Own the design, release, integration, and maintenance of Avionics Test Infrastructure
• Develop ground support harnessing, test racks, and test fixtures
• Support designs for short-term rapid prototyping and long-term production scaling
• Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing engineers

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
• 3+ years of experience designing ground equipment infrastructure (test racks, harnesses, fixtures)
• Experience designing mechanical test solutions for electronic devices
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as NX and Teamcenter
• Experience with wire harness design tools like Zuken or Capital Harness
• Experience working with build and test technicians

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with PCB design modeling tools like Altium Designer
• Scripting experience in Python or MATLAB for data acquisition and analysis
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, UART, or SPI
• Experience with data acquisition and control platforms like NI or Beckhoff
