About the role
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and install aircraft wire harness assemblies and components
- Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wire diagrams, and system schematics
- Modify, repair, replace, or perform routine aircraft installs in specialized areas
- Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies per drawings and standard practices
- Install wire harnesses on final product assemblies including interior cabinets and circuit breaker panels
- Troubleshoot issues, replace or repair parts, and perform necessary adjustments
- Accurately document all work performed according to maintenance programs
Requirements
- Minimum two years of avionics experience preferred
- Familiarity with Boeing Standard Wiring Practices Manual
- Ability to interpret engineering data and read measuring instruments
- Proficiency with repetitive stripping and crimping equipment
- High degree of hand-eye coordination and accuracy
- Ability to work overtime as required
- US Citizenship required due to special access facility requirements
- Must be able to comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
Preferred Qualifications
- Airframe (A) License
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
