About the role
Responsibilities
- Performs avionics and electrical systems maintenance according to FCC, FAA and Company Policies and Regulations
- Troubleshoots, tests, repairs and installs avionics components such as aircraft communication, navigation, radar and electronic instrument systems
- Performs routine or special maintenance inspections to prevent failure of aircraft electrical and avionic systems
- Fabricates wiring harnesses and installs/modifies avionic and electrical systems
- Interprets avionic/electrical wiring diagrams, wire identification, and harness fabrication
- Sets up and operates ground support and test equipment to perform functional flight tests
- Completes work package documentation by signing/stamping off after finishing all designated operations
Requirements
- High School or GED
- Current A&P or an FAA Repairman Certificate (Avionics)
- 5 years of recent depot level aircraft avionics experience
- Proven experience with Installations & Modifications
- Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams, harness fabrication, and circuit testing
- Ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- FCC License
- Prior experience in an executive jet repair facility
