Avionics Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of avionics systems including radars, radios, navigation systems, and flight instruments
• Diagnose faults or issues on aircraft electrical and electronic components
• Repair or replace defective avionics parts such as wiring, sensors, and antennas
• Test systems after repair to ensure proper functionality
• Perform software updates and equipment calibrations
• Install new or modernized avionics equipment according to manufacturer specifications and aviation regulations
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance records for each aircraft
• Ensure all maintenance operations comply with aviation safety standards and regulatory authorities
• Collaborate with pilots and maintenance teams for pre-flight system testing
• Stay informed about new technologies and avionics equipment updates

Requirements

• DEC in avionics or equivalent
• Five (5) years of experience in aircraft maintenance
• Ability to acquire a DA and a CIZR card
• Knowledge of AMOS
• ACA TE
• Demonstrated capability in avionics techniques
• Bilingualism (English, French)

Preferred Qualifications

• A330 and/or A320 family endorsement
