About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, design, and informational support for avionics and electrical system issues
  • Troubleshoot basic system problems and assist in resolving real-time technical issues for airline customers
  • Support Airplane on Ground (AOG) situations through remote troubleshooting or onsite travel
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including Service Letters, drawings, and manuals
  • Conduct root cause analysis for complex design non-conformances and develop engineering solutions
  • Assess complex system event reports to identify and determine potential safety issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide engineering design dispositions for discrepancies

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
  • Experience in an engineering discipline
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call support, second shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related work experience (for Level 3/Experienced role)
  • 1+ years of project management experience
  • Experience with Network, E-Enabling, Maintenance Systems (NEMS), Communications, or Navigation systems (e.g., VHF/HF, SATCOM, GPS)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple team functions
