About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, design, and informational support for production, product support, or in-service avionics issues
  • Troubleshoot system problems and investigate long-term technical issues to assist airline customers
  • Collaborate with operators to resolve Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations and return airplanes to revenue service
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including Service Letters, drawings, and specifications
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop engineering solutions for complex design non-conformances
  • Assess complex system event reports to determine potential safety issues and provide proactive fleet guidance
  • Travel to airline sites to lead technical and executive review meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of project management experience
  • Willingness to work flexible, off-shift hours in a 24/7/365 operational environment
  • Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience in Communications and Navigation systems (e.g., VHF/HF, SATCOM, TCAS, GPS)
  • Proven ability to present technical information to customers and stakeholders
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work across multiple team functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
