Avionics System Testing

Responsibilities

• Perform avionics system testing and verification activities
• Conduct requirement analysis and requirement-based testing
• Utilize Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing environments
• Manage defect tracking and requirement management using tools like DOORS, Jira, or ALM
• Execute system integration and verification tasks

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in avionics system testing
• Hands-on experience with Flight Warning Systems (FWS) or similar cockpit alerting systems
• Proficiency with avionics communication protocols such as ARINC 429, AFDX, CAN, or MIL-STD-1553
• Experience with test tools like Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, or dSPACE ControlDesk
• Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of aerospace certification standards including DO-178C, ARP4754A, and ARP4761
• Experience in safety-critical software verification and validation
• Exposure to automation or scripting using Python or CAPL
• Understanding of SDLC and V&V processes
