Avionics Logistics Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain technical procedures, operation, and manuals for avionic components including engine controls, flight controls, and cabin systems
• Manage documentation in Windchill and pull requirements from DOORS
• Review internal and external customer questions about procedures and manuals, evaluating delta and scope updates
• Coordinate with Engineering and ILS teams for implementation and verification of updated manuals

Requirements

• BS Technical degree or equivalent
• Experience with documentation systems such as Windchill
• Experience with documentation tool sets such as Adobe Creator
• Ability to discuss and understand technical communications
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work on-site in Endicott, New York
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and part lists
• Avionics experience with DOORS or similar requirement databases
• Functional knowledge of hardware, software, and firmware technical documentation and avionics engineering tools
