Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies from circuit board to integrated electro-mechanical levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test engineers
- Drive hardware improvements through benchtop, environmental, and on-aircraft testing
- Perform root-cause investigations to rectify anomalous behavior in safety-critical environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- Professional experience with ECAD tools such as Altium
- Demonstrated ability to complete and ship projects and deliverables
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to methodically diagnose and solve electronic hardware problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience with the full electronics product life-cycle
- Hands-on experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design and debug
- Experience designing electronics for rigorous environmental standards (aerospace, military, automotive, or industrial)
- Proficiency with Python and/or MATLAB for analysis and test setup scripting
