Avionics Hardware Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and analyze custom avionics hardware for the Terran R launch vehicle
• Own hardware development across concept, bring-up, verification, qualification, production, integration, and operations
• Collaborate with propulsion, GNC, fluids, stage engineering, and other cross-functional teams
• Support reliable, on-schedule delivery of flight-ready electronics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with eCAD tools such as Altium or equivalent
• Experience with hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis
• Experience with board-level design from concept to manufacturing
• Experience working on highly cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Embedded software development or integration experience for avionics systems
• Design for reliability and manufacturability experience
• Power electronics experience, including motor drives, DC-DC converters, load switches, or high-voltage DC
