About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and analyze custom avionics hardware for the Terran R launch vehicle
- Own hardware development across concept, bring-up, verification, qualification, production, integration, and operations
- Collaborate with propulsion, GNC, fluids, stage engineering, and other cross-functional teams
- Support reliable, on-schedule delivery of flight-ready electronics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with eCAD tools such as Altium or equivalent
- Experience with hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis
- Experience with board-level design from concept to manufacturing
- Experience working on highly cross-functional engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Embedded software development or integration experience for avionics systems
- Design for reliability and manufacturability experience
- Power electronics experience, including motor drives, DC-DC converters, load switches, or high-voltage DC
