About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of complex electronic avionics equipment in an FAA regulated environment.
- Set up and operate precision test equipment including oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and written procedures to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
- Align and adjust advanced electronic components using established calibration procedures.
- Utilize SAP and other MRO computer programs for documentation and workflow management.
- Participate in project teams and communicate technical findings to engineering and leadership.
- Work the 2nd shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Requirements
- High School diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent 2-year post-high school training).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electronics maintenance or a manufacturing/service environment.
- Proven experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.
- Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual).
Preferred Qualifications
- AAS degree in electronics.
- Prior military experience.
- 2+ years of experience specifically with aviation electronic equipment repair or manufacturing.
- Experience reviewing CMM/SB documentation.
