Aviation Security Screener

Responsibilities

• Screen packages using X-ray and other approved security screening methods
• Ensure compliance with aviation security regulations and company procedures
• Conduct routine equipment checks and maintain accurate records
• Identify and prevent prohibited items from entering the air cargo network
• Monitor work areas to ensure security processes are consistently followed
• Escalate any security, quality, or process concerns to supervisors promptly
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant operation

Requirements

• Previous experience working with X-ray screening equipment or in a similar security environment
• Ability to successfully pass aviation security vetting, including background and criminal record checks
• Ability to pass an eye test, including a colour vision assessment
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under time-sensitive conditions
