About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage safe aircraft and flight operations for personnel and freight transportation.
  • Manage aviation services contracts, ensuring compliance with commercial and HSSE performance metrics.
  • Conduct frequent 1st line assurance audits on Air Operators and inspect airport, heliport, and helideck facilities.
  • Support Air Operators in closing gaps identified during audits to achieve operational excellence.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external government bodies.
  • Manage aviation KPIs, procurement plans, and operating budgets.
  • Direct the delivery of air transport resources during emergency response activities.

Requirements

  • Licensed pilot (ATPL preferred or CPL acceptable) or aircraft engineer (A&P licensed).
  • At least 5+ years of industry experience in aviation.
  • Proven experience in aviation maintenance and logistics management.
  • Working knowledge of CAAM, EASA, or JAA regulations and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Strong auditing skills regarding engineering and flight operations standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Aviation SMS software (e.g., Q-Pulse, RADAR).
  • Excellent English communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) operations.
  • Advanced understanding of technological developments in helicopter operations.
