About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Resident Engineer and Project Manager with daily project administration and technical support.
  • Review, log, and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contractor correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation in compliance with contract and agency requirements.
  • Support QA/CI/CM activities, including documenting inspections, testing, and quality compliance.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and project status updates.
  • Monitor contractor schedules and cost impacts while assisting in evaluating claims and change requests.
  • Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Classify, organize, and analyze documents using document control software.
  • Assist with writing technical reports and preparing invoices for client submission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in construction management, preferably in aviation or transportation infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documentation, contract administration, and project controls.
  • Proficiency in Primavera, MS Project, Procore, and MS Office 365.
  • Skilled in technical writing for reports, recommendations, and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience specifically in airport or aviation construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of MAA or similar state/local agency requirements.
  • PE/EIT certification or CMIT/CCM credentials.
