Aviation Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform production installations, maintenance, and alterations on aircraft structures, systems, and sub-systems, including electrical and avionics
• Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, and service aircraft and engine systems to ensure flight readiness
• Conduct audits and surveillance of manufacturing and quality assurance processes, including FAA coordination and airworthiness inspections
• Utilize technical specifications, manuals, and FAA publications to complete work assignments
• Maintain accurate company and FAA-required records and inspection forms
• Plan and organize work packages to meet predetermined schedules and promote efficient operations
• Interpret and adhere to airworthiness directives and service bulletins

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance on powered aircraft (military, airline, or certificated repair station) OR experience troubleshooting electrical or complex mechanical systems
• US Person status required (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
• Ability to work any shift, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs and engaging in movements such as climbing, bending, and kneeling

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience on powered aircraft
