Aviation Logistics Specialist (LS) MH-60R

Responsibilities

• Perform field and sustainment level maintenance support for MH-60R aircraft, including production control, quality control, and supply management.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and integrating overall logistics and supply support requirements for organic aviation systems.
• Conduct studies and analysis of logistics-related issues to determine cost-effectiveness and improve decision-making processes.
• Track and analyze supply data to identify trends and deficiencies, making recommendations for improved supportability.
• Develop logistics plans to enhance the distribution of goods and supplies, identifying and prioritizing key assets and infrastructure.
• Manage specialized shops associated with fixed base operations, including troubleshooting, testing, and Technical Directive compliance.
• Prepare and review logistics operational and contingency plans, including support annexes.
• Administer day-to-day provisioning, spares, and maintenance/repair activities for assigned programs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
• Proven experience in military logistics or supply functional disciplines.
• Working knowledge of automated logistics and supply support systems.
• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NAC(T3) Background Investigation and pass a drug test.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, climbing, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing plans, conducting studies, and performing briefings or training.
• Familiarity with the US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program.
• Previous experience providing US logistics or supply support to foreign nations in an overseas environment.
• Experience with Organizational, Intermediate, or Depot level maintenance.
