Aviation Construction Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field coverage for airfield construction projects to ensure safety and operational compliance
• Verify that construction activities and installed materials conform to approved plans and specifications
• Maintain real-time field awareness and communicate changing conditions to Project and Construction Managers
• Monitor airfield safety items including barricades, temporary lighting, markings, and FOD control
• Support Part 139 operational readiness and coordinate airfield closures, access, and contractor escorts
• Perform daily quantity tracking, documentation, and field reporting to support project reconciliation

Requirements

• High School diploma plus 6 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Experience in airfield or aviation-related construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
• Strong situational awareness and ability to work safely in active airfield environments
• Ability to work varied shifts aligned with construction windows and operational needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with FAA Part 139 considerations and airport operational constraints
• Experience supporting inspections, quantity tracking, and daily field reporting
• Experience coordinating closures, access control, or escorting in restricted environments
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with field personnel, contractors, and project leadership
