Aviation Avionics Technician

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and installation drawings for system inspections and installations
• Perform wire harness fabrication
• Conduct system checks on communication, navigation, flight control, and monitoring systems
• Document maintenance actions in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Support scheduled inspections, unscheduled maintenance, and Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) events
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve system issues
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience as an Aviation Avionics Technician or similar role
• Working knowledge of aircraft avionics, electrical systems, and test equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manufacturer manuals
• Proficiency with aviation tooling such as crimpers, multimeters, and soldering equipment
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance documentation
• Ability to work varied shifts, overtime, or AOG support as required

Preferred Qualifications

• A&P Certificate
