AVEVA PI System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and maintenance for the customer's High Availability PI system
• Document PI System administration tasks and procedures
• Collect, refine, and document customer requirements
• Translate customer requirements into project deliverables
• Resolve complex technical issues requiring significant freedom of action and sound judgment
• Support the transition of the PI System from on-premises to Azure Government Cloud

Requirements

• 2+ years of operational Data Historian Administration (OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System, GE Proficy, AspenTech IP.21, or similar)
• Associate degree in IT, Computer systems, or related field
• Experience with Server/OS maintenance including patching
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System experience with Data Archive, Asset Framework, Asset Analytics, and PI Vision
• Experience with Active Directory Security software
• Technical knowledge of networks, firewalls, and OT-IT network segmentation
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
• Experience with Microsoft Azure System Administration or Solution Design/Architecture
• Experience integrating AMI metering infrastructure or Building Automation Systems (BAS) to AVEVA PI
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, C#, or Python
