Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and production flow at the Nykvarn facility
• Manage personnel, including planning, leadership, and follow-up
• Ensure waste handling and sorting comply with environmental regulations and permits
• Optimize machine processes, sorting plants, and crushers for stability and profitability

• Manage environmental compliance, including self-monitoring, sampling, and emissions control

• Lead systematic work environment (SAM) initiatives to ensure safety and risk mitigation
• Manage facility security, access control, and physical protection
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for machinery and plant components
• Monitor budgets, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and energy

Requirements

• Experience in the recycling or waste management industry
• Previous experience as a Department Manager, Site Manager, or in a similar leadership role
• Practical experience from field or plant operations
• Technical or environmental education, or equivalent experience in heavy industry
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and work environment regulations
• Ability to manage finances, schedules, and resources
• Valid B-driver's license
• Ability to travel within Mälardalen, Östergötland, and Sörmland
