Avaloq Developer

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of current tax calculation architecture within Avaloq, evaluating system design, data flows, and integration points
• Produce architectural proposals identifying optimal target systems, weighing the trade-offs between existing setups and new transitions
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across tax, technology, and operations to validate findings and ensure technical and commercial viability
• Produce clear, high-quality documentation suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Avaloq Banking Suite
• Deep expertise in tax and capital gains calculation modules, specifically CGCalc and/or CGiX
• Strong understanding of investment tax principles, capital gains computation, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Proficiency with Avaloq scripting (ALES) and related development tools
• Ability to assess complex legacy architectures and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to business audiences
• English proficiency at a C1 Advanced level
