AV Technician II

Responsibilities

• Participate in the installation of AV equipment, including audio/video conferencing, digital signage, and control systems
• Perform structured cabling tasks such as pulling, terminating, and testing cat5e/6, HDMI, DVI, and audio cables
• Provide high-profile event support, including equipment setup, breakdown, and real-time troubleshooting
• Conduct pre-event checks and liaise with cross-functional teams and internal users
• Upload Crestron control programs and work with remote teams on system certification
• Manage inventory, including stock levels, RMA processes, and DOA issues
• Ensure all SLAs and daily deliverables, including ticket updates, are met

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 2 to 5 years of related experience
• Strong understanding of wiring, termination skills, and AV equipment installation techniques
• Ability to read and understand architectural, electrical, structural, and AV system drawings
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Ability to work day, evening, or weekend shifts and travel to support distant events if required
• Physical ability to climb ladders, use scaffolding, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
