AV Technician

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment for various events.
• Test, maintain, and prepare equipment prior to events to ensure flawless execution.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with clients on-site to ensure their needs are met.
• Monitor live events throughout the day to provide timely technical support and troubleshooting.
• Adhere to all company safety and security protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE.
• Manage equipment lists accurately and coordinate with team members and external vendors.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through professional on-floor upselling techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work on-site at various event locations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude for audiovisual hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in customer service or the hospitality industry.
• One year of experience in an audiovisual or educational environment.
