AV Technician

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver audio-visual equipment for events ranging from small meetings to large-scale productions.
• Assist in cleaning, testing, maintaining, and repairing equipment prior to events.
• Ensure flawless event execution through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve equipment or software problems quickly as they arise.
• Deliver world-class customer service by meeting with guests on-site to ensure their needs are met.
• Adhere to all company security, safety, and health regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE.
• Complete systems entry, paperwork, and equipment sheets accurately.

Requirements

• Experience in the Service and Hospitality industry.
• Experience in AV or Live events.
• Strong audio-visual technical knowledge.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an educational environment with equivalent AV training.
• Ability to utilize floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue.
