AV Technician

Responsibilities

• Install system racks and perform on-site staging of equipment
• Place and terminate cables, and properly label equipment and field cabling
• Interact courteously with customers and represent the ECC brand professionally
• Complete documentation such as As-Builts and timekeeping accurately and on time
• Communicate technical questions, verifications, and issues to the Lead Tech
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies and wear proper PPE
• Maintain tools, materials, and test equipment to ensure high technical quality
• Recognize change order opportunities and provide solution-focused feedback

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• OSHA 10 certification or achievement within 90 days
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance if driving for business
• Basic understanding of blueprints, drawings, and mounting/rigging concepts
• Knowledge of hand and power tool usage and safety
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CMR
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or in a team
• Ability to travel overnight, work long hours, and handle physical demands including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally
