About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical and audio-visual support for classrooms, conference rooms, meetings, and special events.
- Configure, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment including projectors, microphones, cameras, and video conferencing systems.
- Support hybrid learning environments and collaboration platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues via walk-up, remote, and ticket-based service channels using ServiceNow.
- Deploy and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment for Windows and macOS.
- Assist with user account administration and network connectivity troubleshooting (LAN, WLAN, VPN).
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to technology deployment projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
- 3 years of related experience in audio-visual support, desktop support, or technical services.
- 1 year of experience serving as a primary point of contact for end-user technical support.
- Proven experience troubleshooting AV technologies and video conferencing platforms.
- Proficiency in supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting technology in a higher education or academic medical center environment.
- Experience with endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or Okta.
- Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms like ServiceNow.
- Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, CTS, Microsoft, or Apple.
