About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-level technical and audio-visual support for classrooms, conference rooms, meetings, and special events.
  • Configure, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment including projectors, microphones, cameras, and video conferencing systems.
  • Support hybrid learning environments and collaboration platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues via walk-up, remote, and ticket-based service channels using ServiceNow.
  • Deploy and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment for Windows and macOS.
  • Assist with user account administration and network connectivity troubleshooting (LAN, WLAN, VPN).
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to technology deployment projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • 3 years of related experience in audio-visual support, desktop support, or technical services.
  • 1 year of experience serving as a primary point of contact for end-user technical support.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting AV technologies and video conferencing platforms.
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technology in a higher education or academic medical center environment.
  • Experience with endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or Okta.
  • Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms like ServiceNow.
  • Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, CTS, Microsoft, or Apple.
