AV Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues related to video, lighting, audio, and network technology installations
• Perform regular maintenance, updates, and optimizations to ensure peak performance and reliability of projects
• Collaborate closely with Lifecycle Operations, Design, and Engineering teams to meet specific project requirements
• Install and configure software applications and operating systems across all media technology and network sectors
• Document all service activities, including problem descriptions and implemented solutions, to improve future project workflows
• Provide high-level technical support to project teams and conduct comprehensive quality assurance testing
• Contribute to the development of support processes and internal knowledge bases

Requirements

• Vocational training in media technology, event technology, or electrical engineering
• Proven professional experience as an AV Service Technician or in a comparable technical support role within the AVL sector
• Strong understanding of computer systems, network technology, and standard troubleshooting methodologies
• Proficiency in German (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2)
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and the physical capability to lift and transport project equipment
