AV Rigger

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize all rigging tools and equipment according to event needs
• Provide ground rigging support, including staging motors and spotting lift movements
• Establish hang-points, connect hoists, and secure attachments to permanent rigging points
• Connect, run, and dress motor cables and ensure all cabling tie-offs are inspected
• Verify that all truss bolts are tight and flown equipment is properly safetied
• Maintain strict safety standards by observing personnel and escalating unsafe behaviors
• Perform visual inspections of hardware, including truss, motors, lighting, and sound equipment
• Assist other technical trades with coordination efforts to execute show plots

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven onsite rigging experience
• Basic Rigging certification
• Lift Certification and lift operation experience
• Ground Rigging experience
• Experience with high rigging without a harness
