AV & Events Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure specific needs for event technology
• Perform daily checks of conference rooms and presentation spaces to ensure full functionality
• Operate a wide range of A/V equipment including Zoom, Crestron, QSYS, Logitech, and Neat
• Plan and support events ranging from 300+ person internal/external events to small team meetings
• Edit videos using Adobe Creative Suite and assist in maintaining a living video library
• Troubleshoot A/V and network-related issues affecting event setups and performance
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, including runbooks and troubleshooting guides
• Develop on-the-fly solutions for events and act as an escalation point for video conferencing IT support tickets in the EMEA region

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience servicing Video Conferencing rooms and/or L2/L3 IT Support for A/V
• Proficiency with event production and conferencing technology (Yamaha, Tricaster, Blackmagic ATEM, Neat, Logitech, Poly, Crestron, Zoom Rooms)
• Experience with collaboration and ticketing software (gSuite, Asana)
• Familiarity with presentation and media editing tools (gSlides, PowerPoint, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to support occasional night/weekend maintenance or travel
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with executives and vendors

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in corporate live events, conference center operations, or hotel A/V support
