AV Event Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of hardware and software for the internal platform
• Kick off meetings and events with AV/IT support
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance on all hardware
• Utilize remote access tools on Mac, Linux, and Windows systems
• Provide onsite support for visitors and executive level events
• Troubleshoot routing, wiring, and cabling issues
• Organize, document, and maintain warehouse inventory and spare equipment
• Track RMA of serviced equipment and maintain system updates
• Work with an internal ticketing system to document all issues
• Support audio, video conferencing, and projection operations

Requirements

• 2 years working knowledge of audio-visual equipment including lighting, sound, video recording, and data projection
• Experience with technical challenges in an event production environment
• Knowledge of technical event support system architectures and troubleshooting
• Excellent customer interaction and professionalism
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to travel when required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
