Auxiliar de Operaciones

Responsibilities

• Operate, supervise, and control operational processes and cycles to ensure local and foreign shipments are routed and delivered according to service guarantees.
• Monitor route departure, arrival, and travel times through scanning and vehicle tracking to meet customer delivery windows.
• Supervise transport equipment to ensure all tools are complete and perform periodic inspections to prevent mechanical failures.
• Oversee dock operations to ensure transport teams arrive on schedule and no cargo is left on platforms.
• Analyze fuel performance by monitoring mileage and route travel to optimize usage and costs.
• Manage vehicle maintenance by ensuring all units undergo daily inspections and reporting mechanical failures via SAP.
• Supervise route assignments, waybills (cartas porte), and operator expense accounts to ensure operational continuity.
• Conduct route audits by traveling on units to detect operational issues and optimize profitability and indicators.
• Manage personnel administration, including attendance reports, travel logs, and overtime tracking in SAP.
• Lead weekly meetings with operators to review operational indicators and implement necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Transport Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and transport companies.
• Proven experience in personnel management and project administration.
• Strong knowledge of national road transport and traffic regulations.
• Experience with route design, loading, and traffic management.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
