Autonomy Engineer/Autonomous Systems Project Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead autonomous system projects including navigation, collision avoidance, auto-docking, and route planning
• Define and manage the overall autonomy system architecture and sensor integration
• Coordinate technical activities across software, electronics, mechanical, and automation teams
• Integrate and calibrate advanced sensing technologies such as LiDAR, radar, AI cameras, and GPS/RTK
• Develop and oversee sensor fusion, computer vision, AI perception, SLAM, and path-planning systems
• Support embedded software integration using Python, C/C++, ROS/ROS2, and Linux
• Manage communication and networking architectures including CAN Bus, NMEA 2000, and Ethernet/IP
• Lead testing, diagnostics, simulation, and validation activities including sea-trial testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading autonomous vehicle, robotics, or intelligent mobility projects
• Proven experience managing complex multidisciplinary engineering projects
• Strong technical understanding of AI-based perception, sensor fusion, and real-time control systems
• Hands-on experience with LiDAR, radar, AI cameras, and industrial communication protocols
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, ROS/ROS2, and Linux environments
