Autonomous Vehicle Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with system development teams to understand requirements and define test cases for vehicle-in-the-loop and in-vehicle tests
• Design comprehensive test cases and procedures to ensure full system coverage
• Analyze test results, identify technical issues, and partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Contribute to overall release recommendations based on rigorous testing data
• Organize and execute field testing and test track campaigns to evaluate system performance on tracks and public roads

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in creating and executing test plans for software and hardware systems
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes related to automotive, robotics, or IT systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• A passion for bringing complex software and hardware systems to a production-ready state

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) at an autonomous vehicle company
