About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing behavior/motion planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles, including decision-making and trajectory generation
- Implement, test, and validate behavior and motion planning algorithms in simulation environments and/or on vehicles
- Work on optimizing existing behavior/motion planning algorithms for performance, safety, and efficiency
- Collaborate with teams across different domains such as perception, localization, and control
- Analyze test data and simulation results to assess algorithm performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research in behavior planning and motion planning
Requirements
- Currently studying for a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related fields
- Strong programming skills in C++
- Understanding of behavior planning and decision-making frameworks (e.g., finite state machines, behavior trees)
- Experience with Motion Planning algorithms such as RRT or RRT*
- Experience with ROS and real-world autonomous systems or robots
- Ability to commit to at least 6 months
