Autonomous Vehicle Operations Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations follow rigorous safety guidelines and develop a culture of safety
• Track site performance metrics and follow daily protocols
• Collect, document, and report mechanical and vehicle-related issues to engineering
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and handle operational escalations
• Coach autonomous vehicle operators through quality assessments and ride-alongs
• Monitor vehicle health and ensure all vehicles and operators are monitored during operation
• Follow incident response protocols and communicate details clearly
• Test software changes and provide feedback
• Train and certify new Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs)
• Represent the company during demonstrations and site visits

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-adapting and customer-focused environment
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)
• Ability to work weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or a related area
• Prior experience in operations or logistics
