Autonomous Vehicle Engineer (Electrical & Electronics)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of drive-by-wire systems for steering, braking, throttle, and gear shifting
• Support the design and maintenance of custom PCB boards for power distribution and data acquisition
• Assist in developing sensor suite layouts including LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and RTK/IMU
• Support the design of high-quality wire harnesses optimized for routing and maintenance
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers and vendors
• Conduct bench and vehicle-level testing of electrical and electronics systems to validate performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields
• 1 to 3 years of experience in PCB design, electrical design, and harness design
• Fundamental knowledge of drive-by-wire systems, sensor suites, and compute systems
• Experience with CANbus and other vehicle network protocols
• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and ambiguous situations
• Familiarity with process documentation
