About the role
Responsibilities
- Use existing tools to perform lower level controllers calibration on the vehicle (Throttle, Brake, Steering)
- Use existing tools to perform upper level controllers calibration on the vehicle (Velocity, Brake, Steering)
- Perform controller testing on the vehicle in static and dynamic environments for checking and validating control calibration
- Analyze controller performance to meet requirements
Requirements
- Currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related fields
- Experience with robotics projects
- Familiarity with fundamental control theory (transient response, steady state condition, etc.)
- Familiarity with general programming in a Linux environment
- Ability to commit to a 6-month internship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ROS
- Experience with controller implementation (P, PI, PID, etc.)
- Experience with embedded systems
- Eagerness to learn more about control theory
