Autonomous Vehicle Control Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Use existing tools to perform lower level controllers calibration on the vehicle (Throttle, Brake, Steering)
• Use existing tools to perform upper level controllers calibration on the vehicle (Velocity, Brake, Steering)
• Perform controller testing on the vehicle in static and dynamic environments for checking and validating control calibration
• Analyze controller performance to meet requirements

Requirements

• Currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related fields
• Experience with robotics projects
• Familiarity with fundamental control theory (transient response, steady state condition, etc.)
• Familiarity with general programming in a Linux environment
• Ability to commit to a 6-month internship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ROS
• Experience with controller implementation (P, PI, PID, etc.)
• Experience with embedded systems
• Eagerness to learn more about control theory
