About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in developing requirements and identifying integration strategies for autonomous systems
- Select electrical hardware to enable autonomy and perform system level design
- Work with technicians and software engineering to test and deploy autonomous vehicles
- Author design documentation including requirements, test specifications, and technical memos
- Manage tasks independently and communicate issues clearly in a fast-paced environment
- Coordinate with supply chain and vendors
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of work experience
- Working knowledge of implementing autonomy on a vehicle
- Experience with LIDAR, Radar, cameras, wheel encoders, and computing systems
- Experience with vehicle communication busses such as CAN Bus and Ethernet
- Ability to capture complex systems in CAD
- Experience authoring hardware design specifications for fabrication and assembly
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction

- Ability to work effectively within cross-discipline teams
- Willingness to travel occasionally for product testing and installation
