Automotive Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, preventive services, repairs, and modifications on vehicles under the supervision of a Mechanic
• Assist in servicing and replacing parts such as brakes, batteries, tires, and windshield wipers using common hand tools
• Support major overhaul jobs by disassembling and cleaning parts, and repairing components like generators and water pumps
• Replace engine, transmission, and differential fluids, and maintain oil and air filters
• Remove inspection plates, panels, and engine covers to provide access for repairs
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure work areas are clean and organized
• Drive or transport equipment to be serviced and repaired as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of one (1) year of wheel or track vehicle repair experience
• Valid driver's license
• US Citizenship (required for facility credentials/authorization)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends and other hours as needed
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
