Automotive Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, preventive services, and repairs on vehicles under the supervision of a mechanic
• Assist with adjusting brakes, replacing batteries, rotating tires, and servicing windshield wipers
• Support major overhaul jobs by disassembling and cleaning parts, and repairing components like generators and water pumps
• Replace engine, transmission, and differential fluids, and maintain oil and air filters
• Remove inspection plates, panels, and engine covers to provide access for repairs
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure work areas are clean and organized
• Drive or transport equipment to be serviced and repaired as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of wheel or track vehicle repair experience
• Valid driver's license
• US Citizenship (required for facility credentials)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and government background check
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
