Automotive Upholstery Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Repair damaged cloth, fabric, leather, plastic, vinyl, and other upholstery
• Repair center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic, and stitching
• Perform color matching and dyeing for cloth and fabric
• Repair stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive interior or glass repair experience
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to weather conditions
• Ability to use required safety equipment including face shields, goggles, and gloves
