Automotive UI Tester

Responsibilities

• Act as a client surrogate in testing new features and performing stability and usability tests
• Generate bug reports with reproduction steps and track them to resolution
• Assess test gaps regarding customer use cases and uplift test scenarios
• Write high-quality tools and automation
• Investigate and implement new testing methodologies for robustness and efficiency
• Interface with Tech Leads to develop proof of concept and assist with product research

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development in C/C++
• Extensive experience in testing, designing, and developing complex enterprise applications
• Experience with QA tracking tools such as JIRA, qTest, or PractiTest
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and software project management
• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Embedded Software, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering
• Experience with testing procedures for self-driving vehicles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing embedded systems or working in the automotive industry
• Proven record of innovation through patents, papers, or products
