Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to appropriate certification and experience levels
• Perform complex and heavy-duty repairs with efficiency and accuracy
• Execute work outlined in Multi-point Inspections and Repair Orders
• Explain technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to service consultants and customers
• Recommend essential services to maintain vehicle running condition and document all findings
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager
• Maintain and renew appropriate ASE certifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Unexpired ASE certification or equivalent training and experience
