Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to appropriate certification and experience levels
• Perform repairs as outlined in multi-point inspections and repair orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Explain technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to service consultants and customers
• Recommend services required to maintain vehicle running condition and document all findings in customer files
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager
• Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and manage renewals

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and crouching
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one unexpired ASE certification or equivalent training/experience
