About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work for customer and dealership vehicles
- Carry out Repair Orders as dispatched
- Provide diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
- Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
- Perform high quality repairs for engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Conduct Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace
- Communicate efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department
- Participate in BMW proprietary training and education programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Ability to pass background check and MVR check
- Authorized to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous European automotive technician experience
- ASE certifications
