Automotive Technician Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools such as OBD II and CAN
• Conduct intake assessments and document customer-reported vehicle concerns
• Complete repair orders thoroughly and accurately within required timeframes
• Support preventative maintenance schedules to reduce fleet downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring of other technicians
• Collaborate with Shop Managers to improve workflow efficiency

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on automotive service, maintenance, and repair experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license
• Ability to pass drug and background checks
• Basic computer proficiency
• Must obtain ASE certifications (G1, A1, and A5) within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience with new vehicle dealer services
• OEM and/or ASE certifications
• Experience working with Toyota and Kia vehicles
