Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
• Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Communicate effectively with the service department regarding vehicle concerns
• Participate in paid continuous training (up to 30 hours per year)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles
• Ability to lift and/or move over 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Proficiency in navigating computer systems
• Physical ability to work in tight spaces and use tools above head height

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE Certifications or a documented plan to achieve them
• Strong desire for long-term career development and learning new skills
